Several Deadly Things

Just had to add a few more that have piled up - to make up for last weeks lack of work.

Greed

One of several deadly things.

Deadly Dudley

Pride - Toujours Moi

Well, I guess I'm making up for the past two weeks when I couldn't come up with anything :)

Greed

She didn't even know what Kryptar was, but she knew she
wanted lots of it.

Ground Zero

This one was too big to scan. When I started making collages I would use tape.
This theme brought back memories.
Tons of positive creative energy sent ya'll's way.

Sticky the stick up artist

I have used bandaids and bandaging tape. The tape was easier to tear than to cut.

Check Her Out

I used black and red electrical tape that I cut to fit the design. Sticky scissors stink (try saying that 5 times fast)! I also used a miniscule amount of ink on the butterfly on the red tape part to get it to blend in better.

Foxy

Held togther briefly with rolls of sellotape on the back of each clipping to create 3-D effect.

Theme of the Week - Tape

This week, make a collage using tape (any kind) as your adhesive. No glue allowed.

Underwater world

I didn't have a single copy of the National Geographic. So at about 11 o'clock last night I visited Gould's Books in Sydney (this giant, diorganised bookshop is open from 7 am until midnight everyday of the week). I found three bound volumes of the magazine dating back to 1928, 1929 and 1930 as well as some single issues from the 1960s, 70s and 80s. The collage above has been made predominantly with images from the late 1920s except for the caravan which is from a 1980s issue.

Theme of the Week - National Geographic

Since Michael just found some of these of mags in his junking ventures, I thought it would be an appropriate theme. Most collagists that I know have one or more of these in their stash. If you don't, you can just make a collage that imitates it.

Hairdon't

In Mesquite, Texas, it is illegal for children to have unusual haircuts.

Altered Image

45% of women in the 35-50 age group have some type of plastic surgery.  Strange and sadly true.

Skewed Vision

Vodka makes others appear more attractive than they really are - maybe not so strange but certainly true.

Phone-y?

In 1970, 25% of Mississippi households didn't have a telephone (60% in Japan!), yet people still managed to walk around without even a cell phone.

A Fishy Story?

Fisherman catches a fish wearing lost glasses-- Believe it or not!
