Trip the Moonlight Fantastic

I started with this ad for an RCA television from a TIME magazine. It had lots of images to work with, but I immediately knew when I saw it that I would be focusing on the couple. I also wanted the TV legs to be human legs. They worked better for the lady than the man, so he got shoes.

The finished collage.

here we go!

"starting image"
OK, I decided, whatever page I opened up to, was the page I was going to collage... When I was a kid, me and my brother would play a game with a globe, we would spin it and wherever our finger landed and stopped it, was the place we would have to move when we grew up. I almost always landed in the ocean. That's how I feel with this image.

One Page Collage

Pick one page from a book or magazine that you find interesting. Using a blank sheet of paper (any color) as a base, make a collage using just the front of the sheet you picked. In other words, you can't use any images that are found on the back of the page. Use as little or as much of the page as you want.

Be sure to scan the image before you cut it up and show us both the uncut and finished collage.

I will try and post an example tomorrow in case this description is not clear.
