Let's face it: the best part of any museum is the Museum shop. For liability reasons shouldn't you put out a sign near the shaker cautioning customers to avoid salt?
Thanks all. I love museum shops and usually my first port of call to see what awful tat they are selling. We usually come away with a pencil or a badge etc. Archie used to enjoy them too when he was little and bought things like ammonites, paper weights with bugs in and gliders etc. The salt shaker is a reference to the Salt Museum in Northwich that really does have a large cut out of a salt cellar outside it's front door to guide visitors in!
I want to shop there. They have everything!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful cabinet of curiosities!
ReplyDelete...But I want a hat! I hope they have Hats.

Really great. I love how busy it is and how the phrenology head is keeping a watchful eye.
