Thanks everyone! As Planet Susannia said it was inspired by Hannah Höchs Bilderbuch where each collage comes with a little story. Her animals are more surreal but I got the idea for the sun, horizon and the coloured hand-made papers directly from her book. I'm not sure if the book exists in English.
