Pretzel Logistics

Hi everyone - I'm back after a great holiday in Boston and NYC. As luck would have it I did some small collages with stuff we collected during our trip in a travel diary I kept. This page has a ubiquitous New York pretzel on it. Loved seeing what you all did while I was away - great stuff! Hopefully i can get back into a collage frame of mind once I have recovered from jet lag and being deaf in one ear - due to cabin pressure!

"Come And Get It!!"

Isn't Sin Delicious?

theme of the week- Play With Your Food

Incorporate food into your scene. Maybe something surreal flying around, or subtle like the scrambled eggs blouse my last week's "Neda" is wearing. Easy-Peasy!!

Swim Meat

Partly Arty, Partly Marty

Dare I, Angelica?

This has been such a fun challenge! I tried but I barely came close...Angelica, you are inimitable!

3 times a lady...

What would Lisa B. do? I suspect it might involve gesso.

From the Conf Used Book Store...

Pales in comparision to Michael's originals (but I'll blame the copier running low on ink so some letters needed a spot of retouching). The last publisher name was to be "DYDEE", but a breeze swiped those little letters. A fun tribute!

Life in the FAST lane...

Fast Eyes has long been one of my main mentors, so echoing her style wasn't nearly as difficult.

The library was so quiet you could hear a Book Drop

Angelica makes me believe everything really IS bigger in Texas. Thanks for all the inspiration, and everything else you do!!

Fernand Léger(été) d’être

theme of the week- In the Style of...

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, create something to honor another artist. As for me, I plan to do our own Scrapiteria members, but a famous artist is OK too. Or, interpret Style in whatever way strikes your fancy.

Keep 'Em Flying

theme of the week- Fish Gotta Swim, Birds Gotta Fly

Most likely we've already done birds and fish as individual themes somewhere in the past, but let's combine the two this week. Flying Fish? Diving Birds? Or just both in the same scene?

Swimming with the Fishes

I watched the Olympics last night. Michael Phelps is incredible. The man has to be part fish.

Row Row Row The Boat...

Just back from a week in London and Essex where lots of rowing was involved - hence the collage of rowers. See some silly snaps HERE.
