The Murder Of Mr. Borden

Lizzie herself possibly heard the words to the famous poem: Who lives in a house with Father and Mother, and maybe a sister and maybe a brother? Roy Lichtenstein,Hopeless (Ileana Sonnabend Gallery,Paris)

Alloy, artificial compound of two or more in April, causes numbness

And of course, the text is too small to read ;-( It says: "I cannot tell you how much this heralds spring with great character of each being determined by the proportions. Since I have been combined while in a state of fusion, as in most places, the first color to appear is yellow." Sources: 1954 encyclopedia, 1956 magazine article about desert blooms, current magazine ad for exercise machine.

The Lizard Queen

I must admit I did scour the pages of Knitting Magazine, National Geographic and How Its Done magazines to find a page which has suitable image to go with the words on the same page. So not as random as punwit describes but hopefully the end result is o.k. and I had fun doing it! I may even do a couple more now I have cleared my work table of 10 years of grot!

New Theme - Words to the Wise

We always seem to have lots of fun with wordplay, so here's the idea: Cut out a random paragraph from 3 different magazines, books, wherever. Select a word, phrase or sentence from each paragraph and create a scene to illustrate them. Be sure you include the words in the picture also. (This is a slight variation to the random image exercise in our fearless leader's blog awhile back...) http://scrapatorium.typepad.com/scrapatorium/2007/11/exercise-1.html

Arty Party

When performance artists get together they really know how to get a party going with events like "Carrying The Sack Of Coal Until You Get A Hernia" and "Inflating A Monster Truck Inner Tube With Just Your Lungs".

New Theme - Rhyme Time

Title your collage with 2 (or more) words that rhyme; for example "Fat Cat". (See, I told you it'd be easier than "Pats? Rats!!")

Father Paddy Reads A Poem

Find more videos like this on OPEN Fluxus

This is an old collage you may have seen before that has been animated using some fun software called "Crazy Talk" that I happened to find cheaply in a charity (thrift) shop. You can find other Crazy Talk animations HERE.

Patty Wagon

Sure, I know it's usually paddywagon, but where's the pun in that?

New Theme: Patty, Oh

To celebrate Saint Patrick's Day, use any variation of Pat, Patrick, Patricia, Patty, etc. A wee mug of green beer may help provide inspiration if you get stuck!

Oh, Please Do Let Me Have Collage

Gerry came back earlier than expected to find the budgies out of their cage and sitting with Doris in the lounge. He could tell she had been feeding them again from the stash in Doctor Ernst's laboratory.

Bird Call

Bird Feeder

( It's a postcard. And I'll mail it to whoever posts the best new title!) Update, March 13th: Wow, what a great response, and a very tough decision with so many clever titles. Thank you all for playing!! And the lucky winner is PLANETROSS, for "The Naviary". Your postcard will be flying your way as soon as I get your address.

Collage Book Cover

This is the collaged cover to one of my pasted books...I don't think I have posted it before

Front Cover

The Nicecosson Hunters

Tragic tale of the last Nicecosson penguins being hunted to extinction from the far reaches of the Congo. Cruel hunters lured them into the shallows of the river with promises of wealth and fame on "reality" TV programmes.

Cat Power

You don't see this very often. Experiments with cats to power turbines seems more feasible now in these days of alternative energy.
