This caught me off guard. I usually look to see the humor, quirkiness or even beauty of a piece, but this one (to me) symbolizes all of us who go about our daily routines oblivious to those who are putting their lives on the line to protect us. It's a poignant work.

Thanks all. I doubt whether anything symbolic was meant here Cate- just me playing about with clippings and having some fun . Maybe it was all sub-conscious?

I stayed in this motel once-those bayonets in the pool were so annoying-mind you there were plenty of sun loungers available
