As I mentioned, no digital camera, so I had to put everything on the scanner. I'd say it took about an hour to leaf through the magazine & encyclopedia to find potential images that would suit the scene.
Then another hour to trim and glue.
I was pretty pleased with the number of images I added, some of which look like they really belong there.

I like what the touch of yellow in the S.O.S. sign adds.
One of my favorite bits is the outboard motor, which is really the thermostat from the bottom of the hot water heater after I trimmed it off. Many thanks to Angelica for help with image posting & translation!
