Joan of Arc

"And who are you?" she sternly spoke
to the one beneath the smoke.
"Why, I'm fire," he replied,
"And I love your solitude, I love your pride."

"Then fire, make your body cold,
I'm gonna to give you mine to hold,"
saying this she climbed inside
to be his one, to be his only bride.

by Leonard Cohen from "Songs of Love and Hate"

Terrific! I don't know this Leornard Cohen song but I bought his first album when it came out back in the 60's. Still sounds good today.

Thanks everyone. One of my favourite songs and albums. I never get tired of it. Not everyone likes it though as it is quite depressing so I usually listen to it when I'm by myself.
