Interactive Self Portrait

This was an old collage digitally coloured by Noah Eve, the talented son of a friend who runs the Interactive Arts course at MMU in Manchester where Hazel works. Looking back at it is a kind of sub conscious self portait lsting many of the things I like to do and enjoy looking at.

I like the faux phrenological aspect of it. I'm a sucker for boxes and classifications and taxonomies and all of that used in a seriously unserious way.

The original image came from an old childrens encylopedia about the functions of the brain and body etc. It reminded me of the "Numbskulls" - a comic strip in the Beano comic about little men living inside your head that work the various senses- sight, smell ,touch, hearing etc.
Thanks for the nice comments. Much appreciated.

Yes, I can certainly see the inside of your head looking just like this collage! Love it!
