The Tween Years

At ten years old, I loved roller skating, playing games, drawing, listening to upbeat cheesy music (tapes shown are Donny & Marie, Bay City Rollers, K.C. & The Sunshine Band, and soundtrack to Thank God It's Friday), and reading comics like Mad, Crazy, Cracked, Weirdo and secretly peeking at my uncle's stash of National Lampoon mags. I think my early reading material proves that I was a bit strange and corny even at a young age.

Too bad we weren't neighbors Scrappy. We could have chatted over who had better feathered hair, Scott Baio or Shaun Cassidy.

Rakka, I still have a few of my old comics. They still make me laugh.
