Nice one! Sentiments I can agreee with. I have been trying to cut back my mail art but realise how dull it makes the incoming post despite 2008's Wheelie Bin Gallery and hazel's Rusty Nail project. We hope to do some collaborative books and assembling 'zines in 2009.
M, I love the Rusty Nail project! Didn't know about it. Will have to keep an eye out for interesting finds.
I am not a prolific mail art person. Really, I shouldn't even call it mail art, except that it is sent through the mail. I consider it more of a collage exchange. Focusing on just collage makes it easier for me to manage.
vito v, I would Google it and learn as much as you can. I have my set rules of what is off limits for me, but until it's written in stone, each artist is on their own. Good luck!
