I used Angelica's tried & true method of random selection for top scene-- grabbed a nearby book, a magzine off the floor and a postcard from the shoebox under my desk without looking, and used an image from whichever page I opened up to. The words came from the reverse side of the same magazine page. (Ignore the second scene. It's a repeat I clicked on by mistake then couldn't figure out how to delete it. It WAS done with leftover scraps found on my desk at the time, though, so I guess it could fit here as well)

Nice one!
The combination of papers works really well! I've never tried making such a spontaneous collage.
I make LOTS of postcards and find this is a fulfilling way to create freely with no theme or expectation of the end result, while also using up those bits of paper that stay on the desk because they're too good to throw out. Work on a couple or 3 at a time, and you'll be surprised how you still use your artistic eye to make things "fit".
