One More For The Road

Temptation

This is actually for the scraps and shadow theme-this has mostly been made with scraps and there is one tiny use of "shadow"

New Theme - Larger Than Life

Remember the Tall Tale Postcards, with a gigantic ear of corn on a railcar or a huge fish atop a station wagon, which is as big as the car? That's the idea for the week. I've truly enjoyed my turn as theme thinker-upper, and appreciate your enthusiastic response!!

Beyond a Shadow of...

The cow shadow shows up OK, but you'll have to look closer to see the man, talking to the woman under "retire to"... A shadow of his former self, but my, what a big eye he has!

New Theme - The Shadow Knows

Use Leftover scraps of scraps to create something new. Check the reverse side of pieces; you often find surprise images. And try to incorporate at least one "shadow"; that is, the silhouette left behind after something has been cut out.

Choose a color--maybe your favorite, maybe one you know you have lots of, maybe the first scrap you see... And create a piece in variations of that color. Easy-Peasy Lemon Squeezy, right?

A is for Art

Sorry, I have been making some new collages but none seem to fit this theme for some reason. Grasping at straws here! Angelica sent me this nice old pin-up in some scraps a while back and I've been meaning to use it in a collage for ages. Nice to finally get the chance.

New Theme - A is For...

OK, Kids, what better way to start the new year than at the beginning? Show things that start with the letter A, illustrate an "A" word, or give it your own twist. And you know me-- Puns will earn you at least an A minus on this Assignment!
