Janet Klein (& her Parlour Boys) sent me the swallow image on a fancy postcard a couple of years ago when I enquired about her latest recording. The other clippings are from a children's encyclopedia and some party streamer.
That's a lovely bird image. I like the patterns too. I always wondered what those colorful strips of paper you use in some of your collages were. Now I know they are party streamers!
The checkered patern is from a cd inlay for a band called the Cartoons who had a big hit in the u,k. a couple of years ago called Oo Ee Ooh Ahah or something similar- a remake of an old rock 'n roll hit. Maybe it was called My Friend the Witchdoctor? Anyway, I threw the CD in the vile pile and used the sleeve for cutting up.
