Behind the closed attic door, I just found a box of library discard books so I used them for this piece. It includes an art book, history book and one titled "Real Ghosts"--how timely is that?! The edited text came from the reverse side of the same page.

This is a real piece of visual poetry. The juxtaposition of the elements in both placement and color makes for a piece you want to look at again and again. Kind of like looking for a ghost.
Hey, I think I know that statue. Is she from American Heritage, an article about the White City and the 1893 Chicago World's Exhibition? I may have even used her in a collage myself. It's kind of like dating the same girl.
I want to go up in your attic. I bet you have some great things!
Great mix of images!
Fantastic collage. It seems that there's some supernatural stuff going on behind most closed doors. Could I borrow that cat for half a day?
Hugh, I meant to double check but I think she was at the Glass Palace exhibit in London. Could've been a Chicago chick first, or maybe a twin cousin though. And if half a day of cleaning will do it, your place mustn't be too bad CD, even if you don't factor in the 50% nap time mandated by the Feline Union. Our attic is only 2 years old, since I built it--the cellar, though, has stuff I don't even remember. Some day...
Oh, I forgot the Feline Union! I'll probably need that cat for a whole week.
